TREK IN THE TOUBKAL REGION

We organise fully personalised, tailor-made treks in the Toubkal Region, with accommodation as required, for individuals and groups, large and small, of all aptitudes, abilities and experiences.

Whether you wish to climb Jebel Toubkal (4167m) itself, the highest mountain in North Africa, or undertake a less strenuous challenge at a lower altitude, perhaps along the gentle Aït Mizane Valley, we will listen closely to your wishes. We can recommend routes to you, of course. Please remember, however, that we have no fixed programmes. Why not begin by looking at the seven suggestions, above ? We would be very happy to discuss other possibilities with you, too, while always encouraging you to make the final choice of when and where you go, and for how long.

WHY WALK IN THE TOUBKAL REGION?

The Toubkal Region offers an opportunity to enjoy both traditional Berber culture and the experience of an ascent to the summit of the highest mountain in North Africa. Any trek in the Toubkal Region is likely to involve winding through beautiful hills, crossing deep gorges, and wading through river streams, at times seeking the shaded protection of juniper and pine trees, at others the cool of cherry and walnut groves. The valleys are home to tiny, isolated hamlets and villages which, perched above their terraced fields of corn and barley, cling to the very mountainside. Why not choose to stay in a traditional village for the night and gain a closer insight in to daily Berber life?
